1001 Nights in quarantine is an international story project written by all of us. We are growing a live tree of stories from across the world. All stories are unfinished and ready to be completed by you. Every alternate ending for a story forms a new story branch for others to connect and write into.

It is about finding connection in a time of disconnection. It is about communication trust and creativity. It is about sharing an imaginative space in live time when we cannot share a physical space.

We believe that everyone everywhere has a story worth telling and we want to hear yours.

This website is a work in progress, if it is inaccessible to you in anyway, please get in touch and we will see what we can do to fix it.

1. Read through the stories and find one you are inspired to finish.

2. Click on the ‘Complete story’ button and write the ending.

3. Write your own story and leave it half way through a sentence. Upload it with a picture or illustration of where you are.

4. You can complete and begin as many stories as you like. However, you cannot complete your own story.

5. Please feel free to write in any language you feel comfortable.

* Disclaimer: Commercial use of any finished story is not permissible.
